Welcome to Northview Lady Titan Softball.  The 2011 Season is "in the books" and we are already preparing for 2012.  If you are interested in trying out for the 2012 Northview Lady Titan Softball Team, please contact Coach Andrea Payne to express your interest.  We are conditioning in the off-season.  Summer scrimmages will begin in June.  The 2012 season kicks off August 1, 2012.

For rising 6th-8th grade girls interested in playing for the 2012 Junior Titan Softball Team, there will be a parent meeting in mid-May and tryouts in June.  Click on the Jr. Titan Softball tab or contact Randy Muench at for more information.

• Summer practices begin June 4th and will continue on Monday evenings at the NHS softball field until tryouts on August 1st.  Plan on practicing from 7:00-9:00pm every Monday except for the week of July 4th.
• We will have scrimmage games during the summer.  Reply to Coach Payne with player availability for Monday, June 25th for a planned scrimmage with Johns Creek HS.
• Conditioning/agility training will begin Wednesday, June 6th at Grand Slam from 11:00am-12:00pm.  Coach Payne is gathering a list of players who plan to participate.  The sessions will run throughout the summer and skills will be reinforced in Monday practices.
• Coach Payne teaches a circuit class at LifeTime Fitness on Thursday mornings at 8:30am (also Tuesday mornings at 5:30am).  All players who have memberships at LifeTime are welcome and encouraged to attend Coach Payne's class.
• The High School Softball season begins August 1st.  Please plan vacations accordingly.  Once the season starts, we will practice every day that we aren't playing games.  Practices will last until around 7:00pm and games can last as late at 9:00pm.
• The fall schedule has been finalized and will be posted on the website soon.  We will be playing in 2 tournaments and our first game is the first day of school (away at Duluth).
• FUNdamentals Camp will be held at Johns Creek High School July 24, 25, and 26.  This is a major fundraiser for Lady Titan Softball.  Please get the word out in your neighborhoods.  The website has been updated to include the registration forms.
• New uniforms will be ordered this year and the coaches have sizes and number preferences from everyone that has expressed an interest in trying out for the team.  Upperclass players will get preference in number selection.  The coaches also need shoe sizes for each player for ordering softball flip flops (to protect our investment in socks).
• Make sure everyone who plans to tryout for the team in August has access to the Northview 2012 Softball fb page.  Contact Elise Smith to join.
• Bookmark the Northview Lady Titan Softball website for updated information throughout the summer.
• To plan your budgets, registration fees are $250.  Once the team is named, each player will need to register via the Northview Athletic Association website.  Fees can be paid by credit card using this system.  Each player will also have the opportunity to have meals provided for home and away games at a cost of $7/player.  This is an optional expense and should be approximately $91 for the season.
• More fundraisers need to be planned...stay tuned.
• Plan to join the Northview Athletic Association for 2012-2013 to ensure that you can use your Booster pass to get into softball games, otherwise parents (and siblings) get to pay the gate fee.
